Back in the day, (around 19th century), way before the days of Pak Up stood a small Chinese language school.
Then, it transformed into a primary school teaching elementary education.
This small, intimate school closed its doors at the beginning of the 1900s as bigger and better schools were being built around Krabi town.
But this quirky school was not forgotten. In 2010, Pak Up Hostel opened its doors into the backpacking world and ensured that the legacy of the school lived on. During your stay at Pak Up, be sure to note them little reminders.
