There are 10 mixed-sex dormitory rooms ranging from 8-10 beds. Female Only Dormitory also available. Before Pak Up became the best hostel in Krabi, the building used to be an old Primary School. This theme carries itself throughout the hostel today with the dormitory rooms named after the ‘Classrooms’ and the bar area nicknamed 'The Playground'. See if you can spot any remains of the old school design during your stay!

The best place to start exploring Krabi and what it has to offer is to get acquainted with the history of this fascinating province. Visit Buddhist and Chinese temples, local museums and take a long tail boat ride along the famous Krabi River to the mangrove forests and visit one of the oldest caves in Krabi. If you want to splash out and treat yourself, there are many restaurants serving local and western cuisines. Tightening the budget? Visit the local street markets down by the pier and in the centre of the town for the tastiest street food.

how to get to the hostel
Shuttle bus: You can take the shuttle bus from/to the airport.It takes 30 mins. At the airport, there is the shuttle bus counter at the arrival hall after you collect your bags. From the hostel, you can book the shuttle bus ticket from reception. The shuttle bus will pick you up in front of the hostel. Taxi: Getting a taxi from/to the airport costs 350 baht and takes 20 mins.
Accessible only by boat due to the high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. Chao Fa Pier: 1 min walk from the hostel. The pier is just right in front of the hostel and takes 30 mins. The boat ride costs 150 baht one way. |

Town Bus Station: Songtaew: There are local taxi pickup trucks can be caught on a bus station, it's cost around 50 bath to get to the hostel. Ask driver where you go to. Taxi: Taxi: 150 baht and takes 15 mins. From/To Tourist bus station (This is where most people are dropped off) Van: 50 – 100 Baht from the station to the hostel
You can buy ferry tickets from the hostel reception that will normally include free pick up service from directly in front of Pak Up Hostel. Coming from Phi Phi islands, a drop off service is normally provided by the ferry operator for a charge of 50B-60B per person. |
